IB IRA deposit via transfer from another IB account?

    Does anyone know if it's possible to make an IRA contribution (my 2005 contribution) by a transfer from my taxable IB account?

    IB chat CSR says, "No". You have to withdraw out of your regular account, then properly deposit to your IRA clearly specifying it as a contribution for a certain year.
