After a lot of research I have found out that the IB intraday futures margin for the EUR, GBP, JPY is from 14.20 to 20.45 CST. Could anyone please tell me in CST what the IB Intraday Futures Margin hours for ES and YM are? I am positive the margin call is at 15.00 CST, so that is also the end of the intraday period. I have no idea about the beginning of it, because when it happens I am at work. Besides I have been searching for months on the IB web site and I could not find such information.

Actually, it ends 15 minutes before open outcry session ends. In other words 3:45 EST. That's the intraday margin cutoff. http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/trading/marginRequirements/margin.php?ib_entity=llc click on futures intraday margin requirements and scroll to the bottom. Edit: moarla beat me to it.
DMax maby you know the answer to my q: on curr futures like the 6E (EUR), the intraday margin still starts in the morning in Chicago or (because sitting in EUrope) is there an other starting time?
Actually I also have something to say about the forex. An IB representative gave the answer on this same forum: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1768889#post1768889 So the forex futures schedule is CST 07.20 to 13.45. Recapitulating, do we all agree that the ES and YM intraday margin goes from 0830 to 1600 (CST)?
