Does IB provide intraday backfill? (for example, for Medved QT). If yes, mine doesn't seem to work.. Thanks
Yes, 5 days of backfill. QuoteTracker backfill working fine here. Make sure you have TWS open and checked "Enable ActiveX and Sockets Client" under the Configure -> API sub menu.
Thanks, I've just read your thread when you had the same issue. So I've turned my QT time to GMT and it works fine now. Though it's not so good since i used to watch time as US Eastern. What do you mean saying "check off"? Does it mean turn off?
Fixed previous post, should read "checked". My issue was not GMT within QT, I had the wrong timezone selected under XP. Check your XP clock settings to make sure you have the right timezone, then leave QT to that timezone. Both of mine are now set to EST and everything works fine.
Hi Jerry, I did a webupdate yesterday of my QT. And not the backfill doesn't work for intraday. Also, it doesn't seem to be able to log in anymore. I use IB as the broker. What could be the problem? Maybe shouldn't have upgraded since it was working fine. hehe. thnx, 99
