maybe you can be more clear? does your order go green? if so, it is at the exchange. if you do not see the size of the bid change, that could be a function of the AMEX specialist not updating the order book and has nothing to do with IB.
I should make it clear. I do not work on the help desk but I will mention to those in my office to be on the lookout for your mail. If you want me to look into something, I'll need the details via PM or e-mail.
good and probably better. FWIW, I asked the help desk to find your mail and they put together our audit trail from yesterday and e-mailed it to samaritan as well.
I always try to avoid the AMEX. They seem to be the ones crossing and/or locking markets. Seems their quotes are stale, or they just have it sitting there, then when you try to hit it they don't execute it. Not only that but it then takes 30 seconds to can the order. Avoid the AMEX
