According to IB, the instinet and island books have now completely merged and thus they are not allowing any orders to be sent to instinet.

This doesn't seem right to be because I'm still seeing size on instinet and haven't seen any press releases about this.

What's the news with other brokers?

  2. Yeah, I called IB and had them fix INET for the day. Is Monday the full rollout?

Well, I did the same thing...and I know they sent out that last bulletin, but instinet never did come back online. hopefully it will be up on monday.

  4. INET hours be different than before?

used to be with IB , one could trade Instinet 3am - 630 pm
    approx

    and island 7 am - 8 pm

This is a joke. There are still people trading on Instinet - it has not merged with Island for all symbols yet. IB, what are you doing? Really irritating.

I couldn't put orders into Instinet earlier this morning but now I can. Bizarre.

  7. who trade overseas or outside of regular market hours?

do you still see NBBO for Instinet from 3 am EST ?

I no longer see or can execute against Instinet
at those times. have to wait until 7:10 am
    to use this ECN :(
