IB froze up late Friday right after market close, and this morning right after economic release 9:00am cst. Anyone else having trouble, my other data feeds were just fine.
did you try ctrl+al+r? may help sometimes. that why i have little app. that actually count quotes,recieved from TWS on something liquid like QQQ and if there is no changes on bid\ask\volume within certain period of time-it make some noise. btw-mine TWS is fine today too
The Ctrl-alt-R feature, when it is working, is a great way to get around all kinds of technical problems, at least until those problems can be eliminated by troubleshooting. The feature, however, is not working on my TWS version 873.3, but the IB developers are already involved with restoring the ctrl-alt-R feature to good working order.
How much "Other" network traffic were you generating aside from Trading Data feeds, etc... If you choke the pipe, TWS will quickly lose connection with IB..
