Has anyone designed a front end to work with IB's FIX protocals? Have you been able to do it successfully? Does a FIX front end to IB have the same/similar connect/disconnects that TWS and the API have? I am beginning to write a new front end, but based on my experiences with TWS, and the fact that the API HAS TO work with TWS, I am leaning on using FIX. I see that most of the proprietary stuff that you guys use is for the API, but I would appreciate any input from anyone who uses/has tried working with FIX. Thx.
