IB Excel API

    Can the API connect to any facet of the platform/tws in IB?
    For example, I want to display current PnL in excel.

    No, not everything you see in TWS is available as such via the API directly. There are cases where you need to use the API to collect the underlying data and then process that data on your computer to get to the results you want.

    Hi Anton,

    Would you be interested in using an Excel Add-in to retrieve data from the IB API? I am building an Add-in (for another broker) and thinking of adding IB functionality.
