    Hi,

I am wondering what is the default stop trigger method for French Euronext stocks with IB.
I had a bad surprise on my very first trade with IB. I bought CAC 40 stock credit agricole (ACA) at 6.20 and put a protective stop at 6.185. It fell at 6.15 and the stop order remained unexecuted. I had to close the position with a market order.
This stock is stock very liquid and I have traded it on several occasions with another broker, never had this kind of problems with stp orders.
Later in the afternoon I encountered the same issue, I let a long position go well below a stp, I wait 2 minutes, the stop remained unexecuted, then I set the trigger method to "LAST" and this time the stp was triggered normally.
Any ideas of why stps werent triggered under default settings?
Could the double Ask/Bid be the default method and explain such slippages?

    Thank you for your answers
