Will IB offer the QMs after they move from Globex to Clearport?
Could you please be more specific: What does IB plan to offer on Clearport, & when?
Also, if you could tell us where IPE stands?
It should be obvious that interest in the energies is quite high now - NYMEX keeps breaking volume records every week or so, for example.
The only change will be that instead of trading on Globex's electronic
platform it will trade on the Nymex's electronic platform. If there is anything
different from this IB will let you by communique sent to you via email closer
to the date of transition.

Yes, indeed. The IPE is available as of today.
Have you seen how wide the markets in ipe crude are? 25-64 cent spreads! July seems to be front month 36,700 lots traded with a 25 cent spread.
It would be nice to see what the market depth is. TWS says I need to subscribe to the feed to see depth, but the account manager says I'm already subscribed and the feed is free.
Is there a market in inter month spreads or do you have to leg your own in ipe crude? Anybody trade it today?
Can USA citizens trade IPE crude ?
Exchange Revises Date of e-miNY Futures Contracts Migration
NEW YORK, N.Y., July 14, 2005 â The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today announced that it will postpone the migration of its NYMEX miNYsm crude oil and natural gas futures contracts to NYMEX ClearPortÂ® from the CMEÂ® GlobexÂ® electronic trading platform to August 22.
The September NYMEX miNYsm crude oil and natural gas futures contracts will be listed for trading on the CME Globex platform beginning today at 3:15 PM EST. The September NYMEX miNYsm crude oil futures contract will expire on the CME Globex platform at 2:30 PM EST on August 19.
The September NYMEX miNYsm natural gas futures contract be will delisted on the CME Globex platform at 2:20 PM EST on August 19 and will be listed for trading on NYMEX ClearPortÂ® at 7 PM EST on August 21 for the trade date August 22.
The October NYMEX miNYsm crude oil and natural gas futures contracts will also be listed for trading on NYMEX ClearPortÂ® at 7:00 PM EST on August 21 for the trade date August 22.
Exchange President James E. Newsome said, "We have been very gratified by the unprecedented growth in volumes we have seen in the eâmiNY futures contracts in recent months. We are delaying the migration of these products onto NYMEX ClearPortÂ® to ensure that all of our customers have sufficient time to establish connectivity and to review and execute the applicable user documentation."
