IB down?

I am logged on but I can not enter trades on some stocks.

Did you mean to lock a position with the second broker if the first one down? But you always need to reserve some capital in the second one, otherwise you may not able to do anything.

 

No excuse for this, tried to phone to get out of positons and get a fast busy.

 

can i claim losses because of this failure? and if yes-how?

 

I was 1sec about to shoot my order.....then IB down...Huuuuuu
