  4. probably because it's doing this intermittently, and has been for a couple of hours. You caught it just right when you logged back in. I just had it happen in the last 15 minutes or so.

  5. That's correct oldtrader. It's been like this for the last couple of days. Restarting does not fix it. Using another computer/connection is the same. Hope they figure it out soon. Had the same problem a few months back and it somehow went away.

  7. IB is working "REALLY HARD" and not being "LAZY" and are trying to fix your problem. So relax, take their word for it when they say they try to be the best.

They are "HARD AT WORK" for you, the customer.

    :D

This reminds me of the "Switch" commercials by Apple.

to make matters worse everytime I loose connection I have log in and re-setup my symbols ---because of that damn bug in the software.

I have only been a customer for a year and in general love IB. Don't know what is going on. I know nothing about tech stuff. I just hope it DOES not continue.

  9. Yep, that's been a problem too, although hitting "restore settings" takes care of it.

I haven't had to "restore settings" though on these intermittent disconnects. I've just had to do that first thing in the AM.

  10. I don't have any doubt they are working hard at it. They always get it corrected, although never as fast as some of us would like. But if I thought otherwise as you evidently do, I'd switch brokers.
