You get pacing violations when you try to send in API option orders faster than about every two seconds. Haven't seen the message on anything else.
The strange thing is it happened on my first trade of the day. Later on it happened 2 more times. The time between trades was hours rather than seconds.
The first time you use help, it downloads the file from the server, which can take a while. Personally, I'd prefer it to be made an optional part of the distribution, or be given the alternative to download it during installation instead of first use. This behavior is several versions old.
have lost connection several times today, with tws reloading itself in a few seconds to longer... this is getting to be a regular on going event.. getting very frustrated...always something...let alone having to deal with the daily trading bs.. w
today, again, many delays on orders for ym; 5sec or more to cancel'n'da same to send...clickin' trough booktrader da order appears on da ladder'n'stays there for ages when there's plenty on da bid/offer for it to be lifted or hit. because of this crap i had to give back almost all of my daily gains, it's very frustratin' and u guys have to do somethin' 'bout it; never experienced these kinda problems before.
Please PM me at least a couple of examples. The best would be the extract from the audit-trails written by your TWS; if you don't have that then the account number and order-number or at least approximate time of problem. Thanks. (What is up with the "da" instead of "the" and the endless stream of "'" instead of "g" and "a"?)
if u activate u email i send u da trails; cannot make attachements via pm...couple of orders went trough fine but others not'n'delays are even worse on cancel...almost 10sec, r0r; as i said earlier it never happened before, execution was immediate on futs...this is da not da first day lately i notice these delays. tia
