  1. True, but still much too fat hogs.

    You are sad. There is thinking in that software that is far beyond your comprehension.

    You sound like the type who always has someone else to blame for trades going against you. If only you weren't forced to use IB, things would be so much better... if only....

    Congrats to people who actually use TWS for trading, kudos to people who actually make money with it :) I use IB with QuoteTracker and couldn't be more happier.

    Come to think of it, that's about the only sound decision I've ever made since I've started trading :D

    Keep the blood pressures down and happy trading :)

  4. Actually, there is some truth to what the man is saying.

    For example, the entire Stock Loan system and Buy-In sub-system...
    Appears designed by someone who has never shorted stock.
    The manager responsible should be fired...
    And they should bring in a Stock Loan pro from Wall Street.

    Updating your Shorteable List only 3 times/day is lazy, lazy, lazy.
    The Buy-In system is insane and insulting to your traders.

    Every Other Broker

    Send email to customer giving several days to close out short.
    COST = $0.01

    IB

    Arbitrarily close short by incompetent programmer or program on ECN after hours...
    Without ** even notifying ** Customer before or after this debacle...
    With 15-30 minutes of customer service time to unravel situation...
    Plus rebates for bad fill...
    COST = $50 to $100

    IB Solution

    Stop lending securities that might be subject to Buy In...
    Instead of getting a Pro to design Stock Loan systems.

    How do you get away with this?
    Is Mr. Peterffy aware of this Keystone Kops stuff?
    Someday soon I'm gonna Fedex him a letter... because there is no other way.
