IB Data Feed Problems?

  4. all these outages, beginning to remind me of National Discount Brokers.

    Of all the brokers I have ever had accounts with, they were by far the worst fro outages.

    gl everybody, interesting, my feed was ok all day. guess they are spreading the joy around evenly.

    same thing today. no quotes at all(no bid,no ask,no last, no volume) on real account and at same time,on same computer simulated account shows everything just fine.
    not to mention lots of short disconnections for last few weeks captured by API. that's another story. no answer or explanation on IB bulletin board so far.
    btw-looks like page on IB bulletin board with questions about this issue been deleted.

    The feed worked fine after a re boot.

    I went to the live chat room yesterday and asked about this. Lots of traders there but they ignored me so I pointed that out and left.

    If I recall from another older thread with regard to IB data and trading interconnects -

    IB has uses a different set of servers for the "paper-trading accounts" and has a number of server farms floating around for real accounts.
