IB Customer Service

  1. Hello Def.
    I'm new to this board and am interested in moving my account to IB but after a simple email asking some questions went unanswered I'm a bit hesitant.
    Not trying to pick a fight or stir anything up but can you suggest the best route for a prospective customer to ask private questions to IB?

    I take it that you sent a mail to the help desk and not all questions were answered. You can two one of two things:
    resend, with a line asking to please address all the issues (for all the crap the help desk takes, they aren't as bad as these boards imply). Or, send me a PM here and I'll ask someone to address all your questions.

    I'll retry in the morning then.

    retry now if you have time, if you have the time. the overnight shift is pretty good.
     
  5. I have gotten relatively good response off the customer service chat. Sounds like you would want the funds and banking chat. Link is available off the TWS or the web site.

    i'm a bit pressed for time today but will get to the other posts later. Did speak with customer service. If you send an e-mail via the web site, make sure your e-mail address that you type in is correct. Apparantly, we have had a number of e-mails returned with incorrect addresses.

    also, try the chats - especially after hours when things are more calm.
