  1. def -

Will IB continue with the policy of restricting funds equal to the aggragate value of long calls and restricting shares associated with long puts (married puts) ?

    Thanks.

Does this mean that US stocks or options could be bought in (for example) Euros from an acct in dollars, providing the 20/1 leverage possible with currencies?

  3. 721 is now available through the web trading.

Support told me that 721 will be available standalone in "a few days".

  6. Yes. The new TWS is really cool and sexy with its new
    account page.

All we need now is the IA for options and a trailing stop
(yes I know IB is against trailing stop - but I found the
    management answer quite strange)

From which page can I download the new version build 721 Standalone??

    On this page:
    http://www.interactivebrokers.com/download/pre_download2.htm

there's an upgrade file tws40_upgrade.exe , this is not the 721 version....

I've clicked from the Start Menu on "Check for TWS Upgrades, and there's a message that I'm using the latest version of TWS. But my version is 712a

    Thanks

dt-war, thanks for posting the link. The upgrade link should be upgraded later today.

    as for the options questions:
if I rec'd the proper info, for long options you'll have to put up the premium, not the agg value of the stock.

as for stock 20:1 leverage - not a chance.

  10. Upgrade should currently be there and through auto-download (start menu). Basically, anywhere you find an upgrade, it should be the right version.
