Since 8/22/07 I have been trying to get a response from IB (via email, ticket, and chat) regarding an odd forex commission that I was charged for on my 8/21/07 statement: Position opened... USD.JPY 2007-08-20, 23:09:53 115.0400 -25,000 2,876,000.00 25,136.24 -7.57 P USD.JPY 2007-08-20, 23:09:53 115.0400 -75,000 8,628,000.00 75,408.72 -2.50 P Position closed... USD.JPY 2007-08-21, 10:24:04 114.3300 100,000 -11,433,000.00 -99,924.42 -2.50 The position was opened (115.04) and was split to be filled. I was charged $7.57 for the first part and another $2.50 for the balance of the fill. When I closed the position (114.33) I was charged the proper commission of $2.50. The entire round trip should have cost $5.00, but I was charged as $12.57. Anyone have suggestions for a contact at IB or input on how much time is reasonable to be waiting for a response? Thanks!
