What does "for display only" mean?

I think it means the data should not be used to automated trading.

Here, I'm seeing the US Equity and Options Add-On Streaming Bundle for $4.50 (which includes NYSE (Network A/CTA), AMEX (Network B/CTA), NASDAQ(Network C/UTP), and OPRA(US Options)) according to footnote 25 but the requirement to get this is you must subscribe to the "US Securities Snapshot and Futures Value Bundle" according to footnote 26.

But, if you get NYSE (Network A/CTA), AMEX (Network B/CTA), NASDAQ(Network C/UTP) separately at $1.50 each, then nothing else is required to get live (undelayed) market data?

Question please. I never never traded with Level 2 before. What is the minimum(and required) subscription I would need for Level 2 with TWS for trading just Stocks (no futures / options)? Thanks so much.

  3. If you are not interested in futures, then $4.50 will get you live data for all stocks.

I don't use Level 2, perhaps someone else can chime in.

  4. Gotcha

    Gotcha

Here is what I had to do. At first, I just renewed the regular $10 package which ends up being free anyway when you do $30 in commissions per month. This works just fine for futures, but I noticed that stocks are now delayed, which is fine for me.

But then I also had to renew the level 2 data which was another $5, and this isn't rebated. Essentially, this is exactly what I was paying before, $10 and $5, with $10 rebated. Now of course, I don't get stuff like IWM which I sometimes looked at to see what TF was doing, but I think its cheap to add this on. Not sure if I care though.

All in all, still a very good deal if you ask me compared to paying for better data since its essentially almost free. I guess it is a step backwards though since the stocks now aren't included. (I think its only $1.50 per exchange though)

I had the same doubt because I need the feed to go through Multicharts.

So I guessed I had to have streaming quotes. I've chosen:
US Equity and Options Add-On Streaming Bundle: 4.50 USD

But this forces me also to have:
US Securities Snapshot and Futures Value Bundle: 10 USD or waived if commissions >30USD

This sounds to be working. At least I have the feed that I had before.

For ES futures I have CME Real-Time Level II 6 USD and I don't need to have Level I in addition.

  7. That's interesting about the Add-On Streaming Bundle. I changed my subs before the deadline, and if that was there, I did not notice it.

I have the Securities Snapshot and Futures Value Bundle, because I want Futures, plus I'm paying $4.50 for the 3 exchanges to get streaming stock quotes per their original notice (reference below), plus I have my original subs for OPRA to get options chains. I forget what I'm paying, $1.50 or $2.50 a month, I'll have to check.

If I can get the Add-On and not pay separately for OPRA, I might as well do so since I'm paying for that Futures package anyway.

I'll need to look at the current subscriptions page, I'm supposing someone who wants streaming stock quotes only and no Futures could just pay for the 3 exchanges ($4.50) plus OPRA for options chains and skip the SS&FV Bundle.

Their notice, which said nothing about options or the Add-On.

"NYSE (Network A/CTA), AMEX (Network B/CTA) and/or NASDAQ (Network C/UTP) - clients may elect to subscribe to live streaming level 1 quote feeds from the NYSE, AMEX and/or NASDAQ at a cost of USD 1.50 each per month (not subject to waiver). If subscribed to the U.S. Securities Snapshot &Futures Value Bundle for Non-Professionals service, any of the individual exchange feeds also selected would serve to provide a live feed in lieu of the snapshot quote for that exchange. If not subscribed to the U.S. Securities Snapshot &Futures Value Bundle for Non-Professionals service, live quotes will only be available for stocks listed on the individual exchange feeds selected and delayed quotes, rather than snapshot quotes, will be provided for stocks listed on the other exchanges. Clients seeking live quote for all NMS stocks will need to subscribe to each of the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ services at a combined monthly cost of USD 4.50."

  8. So does subscribing to the $4.5 bundle give you real time feed?

  9. If you subscribe to the 3 exchanges for $4.50 you get a real time feed for stocks only.

  10. I just don't want this whole 'snapshot' business and charging $0.01 per request nonsense. Just charge me a flat fee and give me 'real time'.

The bundle gives you stock options market too rite?
