Also if you are going to make changes like that you should inform people (especially the third party app writers in advance) so that they can make changes in advance, rather than leaving everyone to switch on their PC one day and find suddenly that nothing works. It is like turning up at the office and finding you have been locked out without warning.
A cheap retaliatory shot! This is incredibly childish! I know of no other brokerage in the industry that acts this way. This is why I, and others, are reluctant to post any criticism of IB at all. They retaliate and attempt to punish negative posters. Fortunately, IB does not know what account I am associated with or I am sure they would close it! Again!
