Why don't you just call them? (03) 4588-9700, 0830-1700. Whenever I call them they are very nice and helpful. Did you send a copy of your alien registration card/resident card? Just a bank statement is not usually accepted here as proof of address.
SOLVED: JAPANESE BUREAUCRACY IS AWFUL I have just called them. Will take another two weeks. Everything is done but they need time (2weeks) to get things sorted. Ridiculous
