I am looking for a decent API to automate trading on the TWS. Some years ago, I looked at the Excel DDE API they had and it was not so great nor reliable. On the other hand, the simplicity was good and I am not looking for something 'state of the art'. Speed is not crucial to me, if the Excel version is reliable it would suit me. Does anyone have any recent experience with it or can recommend a simple robust API?
