I'm in my account and watching the Taiwan market trade using IB's own charts, which are pretty lame but I don't need incredibly fancy charting for my strat. I haven't had the guts to put on a trade though, for two main reasons: 1. I don't want to get stuck in a trade... if the external socket isn't working what else is going to go wrong? 2. Since I know guys like Kiwi aren't trading tonight there won't be anyone to move the market from my entry to my profit target. The second comment is a joke, but looking at the DOM it looks a little thinner than normal. I wonder how much of the STW volume flows through IB?
Yes, that is what I'm seeing here with Buttontrader too. BT will update (no backfill) but TWS frozen. I have to kill TWS via task manager.
Yup, same problem here. After my software connects with TWS, TWS just freezes, and I have to force kill TWS through task manager.
TWS running all day here. ver 882.2 standalone just closed and restarted QT , still works may be certain servers only.
