I have tried both API versions, API 9.10 or API beta 9.20, and when I enter an order in TWSdde.xls, then press the button "place order", it doesn't return any errors, and yet it doesn't send any orders out to TWS either. How is it possible that, I am not saying my own excel sheet, but even IB's sample sheet fails in sending orders out? What could be wrong or what could I be doing wrong? All I ask for is a sample sheet that works.
I take it all back. Everything was solved. I uninstalled everything. Then I reinstalled TWS, then I installed API BETA (over the previous API). Now everything is working perfectly, without even any overflow messages when sending orders.
