To IB API experts: I am new to IB and IB API, I am a decent VB programmer although still learning (in college). I know the most of the basics of VB but not proficient in ActiveX/OLE. I want to write a simple VB app, which will utilize the "real time quotes" to generate realtime scanns and reports. The documentation IB provided is sparse at best regarding API, I've viewed the VBA script however is still very confused. my question is, does anyone have a simple working VB app that will "fetch/update" quotes through the DDE server IB provided for me to reference? I would be happy to share code/idea with you once I am proficient in this area.
