Firstly, Ib historical data is terrible (chopped up into contract months and only goes back 30ish or so days)...Secondly, the historical data you download isn't tick data (if you have the data fee open while trading the specific contract, say CL, the the tick data WILL be recorded, but if you download the historical data, the smallest tick data it will give you is something almost euqivalent to 1 min, or about 30-45 ticks...)... So, is there somewhere ( a froum, service or whatnot), that users share historical tick data files?..If not, I will start one on this site ~Zanatos
