    Dear Traders,

    Two things

    1.
At IB when you have to hold margin for your option positions and those positions are expired but not settled (that happens at night) you still have to hold margin for that day if you trade EOE options. Is this also the case if you trade for example US index / stock options?

    2.
In Holland we have weekly options on the EOE and the exchange launches those options on the Friday so you can roll your position. At IB this is not possible, the weekly options on the EOE are available on the Monday because they can’t add new option series real-time. Is this also the case if you trade for US index / stock options?

I love IB because imho there on of the best! But I find it so strange that one of the best brokers in the world can’t remove the margin when your position is expired or can’t add weekly options on the Friday

    Thanks,
    FT79
