it seems lately IB is having some wonky quotes outside of regular market hours. at this very moment i'm looking at a dow/indu quote of 9904.6, +524(!!!).

it's a little amusing since it's so obviously wrong, but i hate having that little voice in the back of my head wondering "if something this simple isn't right, what else might be wrong"?

anybody else seeing stuff like this?

  2. IB in the past on trying to get accurate HI / Lo ranges
pre market for listed NYSE stocks ... so far I am still waiting
for this to be looked at and resolved

ok ... IB is not prefect , but what firm is these days

yes .. the dow index price is funny

at least I know the stock index futures are accurate AH:p

MMM - two for one stock split

the DOW quote was probably reflecting the new divisor

thanks that is correct, that should be corrected when the MMM tick enters the system on the NYSE open. I'll send a note to the tech support desk to see if they can do something about it beforehand.

EDIT: It was already fixed (should have checked first).

    This is from cbot.......
Starting with Tuesday, September 30, trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average will be calculated with a new divisor because of 3M Co.'s 2-for-1 common stock split.

As a result, the divisor for the 30 Industrials changes to 0.13500289 from 0.14249417.
