Release Notes for build 819 The enhancements and modifications below are in build 819 of TWS. To identify the build number, on the TWS Help menu select About Trader Workstation. For clarification on any of the items listed, refer to the appropriate section in the User's Guide, or contact IB customer service. Enhancements Click Trader This single-click trading tool provides fast order submissions for a specific ticker. Right-click on a market data line and select Click Trader. The table displays the mean price along with a range of prices, 15 above and 15 below the mean, in increments based on the market rule where the contract is listed. Default shortcuts (including those listed below) let you create stop and limit orders on whichever price line you select. Right-click bid size for a buy stop order Right-click ask size for a sell stop order Click bid size for buy limit order Click ask size for sell limit order The current last price is always highlighted. To cancel an order, click a second time on the selected price line. IB Interactive Charts You can now view a line or a bar chart for a selected contracted. Right-click on a market data line and select IB Charts. Take a snapshot of a chart for a specific time period, or choose to update chart values in real time.
1) 819 is a beta version, not an official release. 2) It is for the online version only, not the downloaded TWS workstation.
Whatever they do, as long as they stick to Java, they don't have future, and it's hard for them to recognize the fact and switch the attitude.
I am using build 819, but i don't see the option for the real time charts. I just see the same choices that were there before. such as "show market depth" "show Graph" "show news" etc. Am I doing something wrong here?
