Yes he made mistakes when he was young and now he should suffer for the rest of his life for them. Because only dummies make mistakes when they're young. None of the ranting righties here ever made a mistake or got unlucky. The government should not be there to help people in trouble.
Bush waited to fuck-up until he became president and brought untold misery to the entire world at the same time.
Everyone makes mistakes in life. But those who make them over and over and over again need to accept the responsibility for them and not blame them on rich people.
Untold misery to the entire world. No hyperbole there at all. Sometimes I forget this isn't a yahoo message board.
Although he wasn't alone. The funding of Iranians, Hussein, and militants in Afghanistan, one of whom was bin Laden, had been ongoing for years before Bush ever arrived on the Washington scene.
Ditto for Odumbo ............. he perhaps could have achieved his full potential as a community organizer. Maybe Jesse or Sharpton could have been his mentors.
Absolutely. The argument is over where the accountability/assistance line is drawn. There should be both. But income inequality is a problem that needs to be addressed by the government through policy. It has become too great. It wouldn't even be so bad if money did not equal political power as much as it does these days. And when corporations become people we have a problem IMO.
Holy shit, we agree on something. So why are you making the guy's story out to be anyone but his own fault? On income inequality, it needs to be dealt with somewhat. However, when the government is the reason that income inequality is so great, your answer is to have the government do more to fix it when my suggestion is for government to stop doing what it is doing in the first place.
