On Monday, February 13, 2006, there will be an industry-wide change to the trading session end time for equity options and narrow-based index options. The new session end time will be 4:00 PM ET (formerly 4:02 PM ET). Is this so the MMs can screw us in some different way? Or do they just want to leave early?
LOL! Actually, I think it's because it's the year 2006 and everything is pretty much computerized now, so why do you need 2 more minutes to calculate any kind of option value after the markets close? Unless you're still trading like a 75 year old dinosaur on the phone and doing calculations with a .50 calculator.
