I"ve Been Cramerized :(

  1. I live in dread of the man mentioning one of my long term positions, whether it is in a positive or negative light. Since my investments are primarily small caps, he can do some real damage to the downside, but also to the upside by "burning out" the stock's run.

You got cramered, not cramerized. :D

As for what you can do, call in and tell Jimbo you got cramered, and would like to send him a quadrable super duper BOO-ya.

  8. Still holding, Im in from 13.74. I was expecting it to chop down to 13 and had limits to buy more at 13.05. I picked this stock as my REIT/dividend stock after BED got bought out.

EDR is a steal even at this price for its dividend yield and their industry which has good fundamentals. I foresee some serious consolidation in student housing and Im pretty familiar with the key players. EDR was undervalued in comparison.
The Cramer effect is there so my only concern is whether to sell the pop and wait for a good price to reenter. Im just upset that I did not get my full position that I wanted at the right price. I kinda want the dividend too.

In regards to actual validity of a Cramer recommendation it's like a 50/50. He was right on ABB for example but his mention right away makes the price more risky and starts the noise. Can't even put stops.
