As far as this site? I've been on here for a few yrs and tried helping out guys who sent me messages with questions about the biz. I've been trading in the business since 1993 and know the prop/hedge fund world very well. I figure if I can help out some guys...great. When I came into the biz in 1993 guys who had been trading for 10-15 yrs helped me out a lot. Figured I could return the favor. the reason I like to communicate through messaging is because of crackpots like you. It's hilarious you trash me for "not contributing". I basically said that people (mostly you) need to take a step back and relax. They will probably extend the deadline. Shocker...they announced that today. No need for panic. And there isn't. You on the other hand have polluted this whole site with your incoherent rambling about the trading world coming to an end. What have YOU contributed? He very well could be a "good guy" just trying to help out. If so then I do apologize to the guy. But all he has done is come on the site and say he passed the test...and everyone else failed. Not sure how that helps people. Most likely he is just trying to recruit people to his firm by saying he can help them pass a test. Do I agree with this...no. But if that's a strategy his firm wants to take, then so be it. Last but not least....you think the quality of posting on here has gotten worse over the years because a guy like me? Hilarious. Scorpion doesn't trade for a living. He is a failed trader that now is getting some comfort that traders will have to work a little more to be a trader. Misery loves company I guess. He attacks people on threads and also through PM calling them losers....ha, the irony. I have him on ignore.
I responded to being attacked period. I said my peace. The fact is this microjohn started this thread with sharing his expereince about taking the 56 test. it turns into assumpitons & accusations by some that he is selling something or poaching for his firm. Who knows. maybe? That is a pure guess by anyone especailly eprado that has nothing but negative comments to other on here. Who really cares. he did not soilicit traders or hawk material on this thread to my knowledge. It's all speculation at this point. If someone has something they can offer of value then state it openly then their would be no need for people to guess what their motives may be. We need study material so maybe anyone that can help is doing us a favor in this matter is the way i look at it. Everyone enjoy's the drama that goes on here. Nothing new no matter what people try to do or say.
I really should just shut my piehole with this scorpion dude. I just think he is so far out of line with his end of the world commentary. Anyone with any trading experience and who hasn't been spent time in a mental hospital can see that this whole thing is NOT going to be such a huge ordeal. The guy from T3 has had some very useful info. It's appreciated. He seems to be on top of things. I only tried to add that people need not to freak the fuck out about this whole thing. I suggested a deadline extension might happen....it did. I suggested very good study material is going to be created....it is by both individual trading firms and now the education companies are stepping in. I agree. I need to ignore this guy. And I will. The only info I know of has been posted by the dude from T3. The only other thing I know is that the waivers will take at least 7-14 days to hear back on. But I think that has been said already.
