Just for the record here, "ephedrine" is NOT illegal in the US and never has been. Ephedra is. The ephedrine alkaloid is what is used in most pills that are marketed for use as a fat burner.
No, dude it's not. It's in your f*cking cold medication. You need to read the law more carefully. Ephedra cannot be marketed as a weight lose supplement and the risks have to be disclosed. Also, the amount is heavily regulated to 8mg or less. It's why you can buy it at your local Walgreens but it's behind the counter. In other words, they regulate how much you can buy at any one time. They actually track your purchases. The primary reason for this is because ephedra is used to manufacture amphetamines.
