I think TIE is along here...

up another 1.50. this is becoming a daily occurance with this thing - i've been swinging it since 62. how's your sell-and-hold doing?

 

Restricted obviously has no idea how to short stocks.

 

now now don't be harsh - he's in the penalty box for taking the wrong side of this trade. I'm sure he'll have an exit when TIEs double-digit growth stops in 2008 - when this cycle wraps up.

 

In the meantime, it looks like TIE will sustain a long play here.

the whole sector is just going to keep going - my long basis is at 70.78.

 

Isn't the 2 for 1 split coming up next week? I've played TIE options since last fall. It's been a winner for me.

Even if TIE dropped tomorrow, this would be a bad trade, Good trades are profitable from the minute/hour they are put on,

Bad trades are net losers the second they are put on.

 

Why not just buy a straddle/strangle and see where it goes?

 

Stopped out on the common today. Still long some Dec puts of various strikes. I have some time to be right... or at least less wrong!
