What precautions have you taken to be sure that logic is not leading you away from the truth?

If you are using logic to verify logic, it is entirely circular.

Many purely "logical" people don't get jokes, nor do they enjoy the beauty of a sunset, nor do they experience the joy of love.

There is this underlying assumption that logic will reveal ultimate truth, but what is the source of logic that you are resting your entire case upon?

It is equally possible that logic is something to be distrusted when it comes to discussions of the existence of God that require God to be knowable via senses and relativistic logic in order to be accepted.

That you choose to employ a relativistic approach is your choice, but there is no proof that this is the correct methodology of evaluation.

Man is more than senses and intellect. If he were not, he would act like a computer.

Data in, logically processed, data out.

That simply is not the fact, nor the facts of life.

 

It is a technique when the points are naturally bland and lacking in power on their own.

You spice up something plain and lacking in taste, you need not spice up something that is naturally sweet or spicy.

It has already been established that you either just pretend to be dumb or don't have the intellect to differentiate between valid points and insults (in another example, ignorance is not necessarily an "insult" and is often just a fact).

Ridicule is a common method used by flamers when they lack effectiveness to generate arguments that stand on their own merit.

 

Sometimes you're hilariously stupid. You see, I've given up trying to instill logic in your mind because there is no reasoning with you. I find calling you stupid in various ways is more effective and enjoyable.

But I do thank you ART, for being my punching bag. You're somewhat of a naive old dear to me now.
