I think I figured out why trading can never work for so many people

My profession aside from trading is helping people control their own minds (and eventually lives). Obvious side effect of that is a good defense from anyone trying to control as well. :p

As for your offer, you need it, not me. So you may wire me $100K of course and then if I want, maybe show you some statement or even teach you to trade or maybe just send your money to charity. :D

Now seriously: I just share bits of stuff on ET when I want. Pretty sure what works and how it works in trading both in the area of technicals and mental/emotional issues.

Recently helped bi-polar person dramatically cut the stress during trading. Quite an extreme case (trading is very tough emotionally even for a balanced personality), but amazing how well some techniques work.

So when people really want to find a solution, I am at their service. But trying to prove something to someone just trying to troll something useful out online... pardon, such a primitive manipulation won't work, ever. :)

Once again you believe world owes you something. This time I had to reply immediately to your every post. What if I had a cup of tea instead? :D

Watch yourself. It's those small things which separate winners from losers in trading and general life.

  3. You bitterness will effect your health eventually.. if it has not already.

Why not bug him on how he trades in better detail, maybe then you can determine if it is possibly profitable.

  4. If it affects my health or not? We'll see.

I don't have to bug anyone to find anything out.I can read between the lines.Dude doesn't make shit as he claims. And no one or a few here,as well.It can't be done on a consistent basis by day trading(means everyday, several trades in and out as MOST of them claim).RTH is a purely random environment and can't be exploit on a consistent basis whatsoever!Who claims otherwise is a complete and utter bull artist.Period!

Whatever you prefer to believe. :)

If you feel better thinking this way, fine. Just remember that you only think so, not objectively know it's impossible for anyone else.

Quite a few people don't need to believe me. They saw pretty much everything I do. People completely independent from each other, from different sides of the world.

I am almost sure at least one-two of them would read this thread. And if I lie about anything I really do, they may step in and say so.

I've never claimed to be profitable every day or even every week. Being profitable for a month is my personal benchmark. Never claimed to make fantastic profits, always said it's rather low double digits percentage of trading account per month on average with single digit maximum draw-downs. That's what I do. That's what others saw I do. Nothing more nothing less.

Now if someone challenges me and says "I don't believe", should I care at all? Would you care if you were me? :)

  10. despite my 20 yrs trading i cannot be as sure as you. for me, i only made my living after i moved to swing trading..averaging in, get my expected move then exiting.

i am sure there is an aspect of carrying stuff multi days for even the people who claim they a more or less day traders. i do also agree (but not as certain as you) most of those day traders if the do not go bust will in time migrate to swinging trades.
