Abit of help to the thread starter though-

There are only 2 directions that the market will move from any entry point, so thats 50/50.

Spreads and comission will make it about 40/60,
but YOU have an advantage over the market since YOU can choose to enter or not enter trades whenever and wherever you want,
when the market doesnt get that choice and simply has to accept your trade.

SO that makes it for like 86/14 odds in your favour.





So i would advise you to instead of lurking on here starting foolish threads,
Get onto your platform and chart and learn 'EXTREME PATIENCE and ONLY make trades at extremely overbought or oversodl levels.

And you will find trading alot more profitable,
altough it will be dull and boring.

Do principal components analysis on the returns of some of these products and you'll find the core underlying factorization responsible for returns in these different asset classes. Suddenly ES has similarities with YM, and certain aspects of MSFT have relationship to IBM.
