  3. If you're going to end up with IB, why do the 56? The main reason to do the 56 is to enjoy the advantages of a prop (margin, low rates etc).

I don't plan on putting all my eggs in one basket. I'm starting off with IB ($10K) thanks to this forum. Build up my account to 25K while studying for my 56. Upon passing the Exam, I will open a prop account with $15K at 30:1, resulting in $450k in BP. With the proceeds from that account, deposit $25K in my Etrade account. Retail accounts offer one advantage immediate access to profits from day trades. With IB & WTS, I will withdraw my funds weekly (IB) and monthly (WTS).

How is your trading coming along, what firm are you with, what is your leverage and how much have you deposited?

  5. That makes sense.

JFYI, WTS has been bought over by T3. I was under a WTS sub-group. The sub-group has remained, but is now under the T3 umbrella.

  7. Hey @jb3398 I've been trading for a while and am in a good place with it. I am pre-dominantly a PA trader.

In regards to fees and leverage, I can only discuss what I'm allowed to (so no personal details here) and that information is below. However, each trader may have a slightly different deal, but I think even the worst is way better than when you compare it to IB or Lightspeed.

    Leverage: 1:20+

    Minimum: $5000

Split: 99:1 (and this is NOT a typo )

Rates are on a scale and the highest I've seen (small trader) is: 0.004

Please confirm this with the manager as the above may or may not be 100% accurate.

    I trade with: http://integratrade.com

Integra is part of WTS I noticed. What happened to WTS main office?

  10. Integra WAS a sub-group of WTS. However, WTS just got bought over by T3, which has kept the sub-groups active. So the structure of Integra remains as before, but it operates under T3 now.

Personally, I prefer being with a group due to the many advantages it has.
