That looks like a bed... Do you plan on sleeping in your office? Or is this how you address the question "Can you sleep at night?"
%% Maybe teak, but that chair looks like oak, among the strongest of hardwoods. IF its teak, its also a a very strong hardwood , used for outdoor furniture , boats + ships YOU ever worked with hardwoods?? I had to use an electric drill[+ nail spinner] to make my oak book case '' Its hard Should be ok unless he has a pet beaver.
%% WHEN we were kids, my banker dad made us pick up oak, hickory sticks; not as punishment, we cooked out steak or hamburgers I dont do much woodwork , but did buy some cypress from a sawmill + let it air dry for 6 months. Made a walnut gun rack + pistol cabinet in school shop. My grand dad was about the only family member to buy charcoal in a store
The wood is strong. So far, I don't have good experience with the metal parts; The bushings, pistons ... could give way easily.
Middle of which century? The middle of the twentieth century? Meaning they sell furniture that was made around 1950? I took a quick look at their website. And the furniture is very cool. And they use the term midcentury. But I'm guess I'm just naive. I can't be sure whether they are referring to the 19th century or the 20th century. The furniture looks relatively modern LOL so I guess it's mid-twentieth century. Makes me feel f**kin old I was born in 1968 LOL
