They're called grifters. They cant make shit in real life trading so they get suckers to follow them and pay for some shitty system that doesn't actually work that can "make them rich" too. Like the old saying goes, "those can't do, teach."

WSBGod was banned from wallstreetbets a while back when it was discovered he was just a sock puppet for the original wsb founder Jaime Rogozinski who was using the WSBGod account to drum up forum subscribers and media attention in an attempt to sell books, courses, and cash in on the popularity of the subreddit. The Rogozinski guy is up to his old tricks, back in the news again since the GME situation blew up. I'd post a link but the details of the whole saga are a Google away for anybody interested. The upshot is the blotter screenshot is almost certainly fake.

I don't even get how one can make money out of the story, after all it is against reddit policy. Why can't they just make a movie without paying anyone? A mod doesn't make a subreddit, the posters do. They are not going to pay posters...

Anyhow, WSB with 8 MM subscribers is simply unreadable, and no serious discussion is going on or it is impossible to find. Some of the mods started a new one called r/wallstreetbetstest
    but r/options is still good.

  10. They got the bulk of their net worth through stocks, So in a way it's also through investing. At that point their money is too big to trade.

Elon Musk made USD $140 billion in 2020 through Tesla stocks. Which other job pays that well?
