@Thiago Ghilardi no malice, K? just curious? YOU are a vendor? the founder of Trademetria, too? and you are asking about API? OH DEARLY....
Lol, I don`t blame you Robert. There are way more technical terms than we need these days. A REST API is a programming language agnostic way to transfer data between services. It uses the widely known http as transfer protocol. So let's say Lightspeed offers a rest api. if I want to retrieve what trader Paul traded today, I'd point my browser to something like lightspeed.com/api/get/paul/20170718 and it would show all trades done by Paul in my browser. Traditional apis would need software downloads, special instructions, specific languages that would take longer to get things into production. Let's test your new knowledge. Do you offer a rest api? If so, let's talk.
For end-of-day stocks data, I subscribe to Reuters Datalink. It is the cheapest option with quality data that I can find online. Most value-for-money. If anyone knows of better vendor, please share it here.
@tradethetrade Vendor just wait a silly second.... LOL if you are located in the States, you would probably be sued.... LOL you just don't want to, you just can't enter whatever to extricate data from someone's personal, very personal, files or docs.... to gain access without the entity's expressed and informed consent, man! L O L now let's try and test it again also, YOUR NEW KNOWLEDGE.... L O L no malice, K, tradethetrade....!
