Hello, Can someone please recommend a RELIABLE market data provider for real time and historical quotes? Preferably with JAVA API connection. Thanks!
I'll look into DTN IQ. Thanks! I've used IB, but my volume of historical requests to their server causes pacing violations. How about CQG/Continuum?
As the above have mentioned, IQ is a decent choice. http://www.iqfeed.net/ Consider Reuters Elektron. It's a solid data feed, and more affordable than Bloomberg. https://financial.thomsonreuters.co...lytics/market-data/real-time-market-data.html Of course, King of the Mountain is Bloomberg, at $2K/month
CONTINUUM ???? they will definitely and surely assess you additional fees for their so-so services, if and when you have MORE THAN ONE computer, most traders would use to trade with....! If traders use only one computer to trade, that would be alright then. any additional computers use, you will have to pay extra for each of the cpu you use to trade or otherwise, sim or not. or else they will just cut your signal leaving only one datafeed for you to ponder and pound on your desk....! say that this is inaccurate and not true, CONTINUUM folks !!!! are there any datafeed sources out there who would be considerate enough and not charge extra for additional trading cpu....? yes, there definitely are. but not revealing.... LOL
btw, which traders group are you in? hopefully, you have all gone beyond already at this point in time, right? watch at your own risks, K? https://www.screencast.com/t/OuQ2pdeGGw
I visited IQ's site based on the recommendations and contacted sales, however no one there can tell me if they offer a rest api. Anyone knows?
