As far as I understand that's how the ignore feature "works". Someone ignore's you and then neither of you can see each other's posts... I think. I'm sure it's a bit of a moving target, since the feature can be modified server-side. No matter how it's implemented it will screw up the dialectic. As a new user I just recently deduced this from similar confusion which ensued after I offered @TheDawn some advice I thought she/he could handle. Anyway... If anyone knows of a site user-guide or something I'd love to know.
I log out to read the site due to blocking and being blocked by so many. MissDawn edited the post and deleted the references to neww and myself, logged out to read, then logged in to state the mods deleted his post (was edited, not deleted). A real crisis actor.
I got my profit. I am happy. I have already revised some of my strategies and increased my commission-to-profit ratio. It's Thanksgiving today! For that, I am thankful.
Bump! Anyone wanna take a crack at a post-mortem analysis on this? Does the principle of no-arbitrage still hold true or was there a Thanksgiving day miracle that upended it? @klattermusen... did you sell into the close? Give us an update, how'd you decide to deal with this? Inquiring minds wanna know!
I could see dawn post with nothing written on it. He blocked me, which is a good thing. Less wasted time reading idiocy. But I switched browser for a sec as I was curious about this saga... Good profit? Long from 11, drawdown of 1$ with the long put, $1.40 without, and now up 0.25 is a good profit? Blimey
