Hi, does anyone know where I can get free HKDUSD or USDHKD daily spot data? Even just the close will do. I need back to 1990 ideally. Thanks L
If all you need is daily, Oanda has free daily history for most currencies on this planet (even for obscure tiny island nations) and 4 spot precious metals, against any other equally obscure (or not) currency / metal of your choice, since 1971 for some major pairs. http://www.oanda.com/convert/fxhistory USD/HKD goes back to 1/2/90, as it were. Choose your period, USD to HKD (or vice versa, if you prefer), ASCII or CSV. Then either copy and paste on-screen results to Excel, etc.; or save the page in your browser as a Text file, easy to import into Excel. There is a limit of 2,000 days per click, so get a few consecutive 5-year tables and combine them.
