OK.... Swear to G, this same thing happened to me...My brother was living with me for a few months....A creditor for him kept calling my house and woke up my 8 month pregnant wife...they were rude and nasty and threatened to keep calling her unless she told them my brothers number.... She called me at work and gave me the name and number of 'Jackie"....I called Jackie and said: Apologize to my wife or else...She got nasty with me and hung up and said it would continue....At this point in my life I was a DOC with a staff of about 10....I proceeded to : 1) Fax simultaneously from every fax their number....imagine your phone ringing and everytime you pick it up all you hear is that annoying sound....and then the fax automatically redials at least 3 times...I had 5 machines going...2) I went to their web site, got their e-mail addresses, including 'Jackie's and proceeded to opt in to EVERY porn site i could think of...my favorite was opting in to www.midgetsex.com then one of my workers went on to the chat boards on AOL for the rolling stones who were on tour...He told everyone" free stones tickets..call 1800--- and ask for Jackie"....in another room ( the legalize cannabis room) he put out there " Free Legal Pot call 1-800 ------ and ask for Jackie and then in several other rooms he put here e-mail address.......this started at approximately 3:00 pm....By 8:00 pm i was at home and made complaints to the Commerce dept. of Florida and Pennsylvania....by 9:30 the next morning...Jackie called me at work.....she had had enough....She was literally in tears and said she is going to lose her job.....Her supervisor got on the phone and was apologetic and asked me " mr. ______...Please stop...please?...we are so sorry but we can't run our business"....I told the Supervr. " when my wife calls me and tells me Jackie apologized, I will stop but not a second before"...Ten minutes later my wife called me and said: " your never gonna believe who just called me"!!! Follow up: about two weeks later, they called me again at work and were still getting harassed....apparently, AOL called them and told them they would be banned from AOL for continuos harassment and using foul language and in addition, their e-mail server was so cluttered with porn offers that they would have to change e-mail addresses!! Fuck Jackie!!!
Yes I also read about somthing similar to this maybe a few weeks ago. I believe it was on Craig's List & I think they are being sued.
I just screen all the calls, one guy has been leaving a message about once a day for a year, I picked it up once and they asked if a person was there. I said "what do you think?" and laughed and hung up.
If you knew the individual's name and home address, you could sign 'em up to receive some nasty gay porn tapes and mags. The thing is, you have it sent in their name, BUT to their neighbors' addresses (look them up in zillow)! Can you imagine the conversations from irate neighbors: "Hey Bill, my kid saw what was inside that porn shit of yours that got sent by mistake to our house. It better not happen again, or I'll call the cops, AFTER I beat the hell outta you! You are a perverted piece of sh..."
