This is different...Much faster, larger, cheaper market. From AI, but still... Market size: In 2024, the US e-bike market was valued at $1,040.4 million. By 2033, the US e-bike market is expected to reach $2,512.6 million. Sales trends: In April 2024, unit sales of electric bikes increased by 13% compared to the first four months of 2023. In April/May 2024, online sales of electric bikes grew by 60% year-over-year.
In Europe, where healthcare is "free", the e-bikes are limited to 12 mph. They maybe onto something...
With the cost of food rising, USA deporting illegals, cost of picking lettuce going to skyrocket. It just another way to jack up prices. Why can't we do the old fashion chain gang, bring out the prisoners to pick lettuce? In few years, it will be a choice, e-bikes or cars, cause when food prices really goes up....
I really feel that in the next few years robots will be taking the majority of the load of ag work. Remember this question...What would you do if you had a million (now billion dollars)?? This is what I would do...My dream. I would give money to community/junior colleges in about 4-8 regions. They would need to have the land and infrastructure. I would tell the college they could use about 10% for administrative needs...The rest goes for buildings and equipment (fluids). Have qualified students come out with a degree as a robotic technician (AS). Think of Luke Skywalker's other calling... We need these people. Most are getting trained at either a 4 year college or by the company in their training program. I see the future...The future is now!!! Billionaires let's start giving (back)... Just my vision...
Lettuce is for DEI loving, vegan environmental socialists. Real Americans eat red meat, drink beer and bourbon, binge on porn and love pills and weed.
Bingo. You just thought through your strategy. You processed it through written dialog, bounced the idea off fellow investors and brought the idea to an actual investment direction...and the very weird part is that no politics were involved. Robotic routine Surgery companies AI Medical Robotics Robotic Orthopedic Surgery Stocks https://www.medtechdive.com/news/Robotic-surgery-outlook-2025-Intuitive-Surgical-Medtronic/738468/ You are correct. e-Scooters and e-Bikes are a nightmare waiting to happen. They are being designed to go faster, more power and night time extended use. Extreme low IQ youth everywhere. Sidewalks everywhere. Old folks fast walking everywhere. Un-supervised and Un-parented kids everywhere (moms on Facebook and Dads gaming). These will not be standard leg breaks with casts. These will be minimally invasive surgery repairs. And your forecasting this for spring is very much the way investment ideas should be done
@Cabin1111 I recently heard of a video from someone I admire, he advocated steel manning other peoples arguments or points to better understand them, and your own. I had to look up steel manning, have a simple understanding of it. Have you done the same with this? I won't, but I would be on the other side of you industry trade. Here is why: Transplants: Kennedy effect might come into play with a more rigorous look at the science. Doge effect might look at the finances. Transplants: career experience from a care perspective, NOT from science perspective. Perhaps jaded, saw the worst, learned the bad stuff. Ortho and injury prone culture: TSLA FSD and similar tech will massively decrease the base rate of ortho trauma injuries. Unknowns: new med effects, pick your poison. HRT, weight loss, all of them. I'd want a provable med tech company with new product or service in this realm before I invested. I've lost a lot in this arena and tend to avoid it now. Some might call it biased, I think of it as experienced.
