the best is a plan that fits the market

the market does not care about your personality.

  2. Yes, I agree with you. If one day I become a mentor. I rather just have my students just watch me trade everyday for about 6 months so they learn better. This way they can see my actually PnL to know I am not playing around just blowing smoke. And I just show them my year tax returns on Turbo tax website. I think as a mentor , the last thing anyone wants to do is waste someone time and money playing ass around.

if i make money : that does not mean you will make money.

i will give you one lesson and you will make money yourself.

but if you want to become a good trader it will take a bit more time

You must only mentor in person in the student's at home trading environment from your trading account with real money prior to allowing you student to trade via his/her trading account sitting side by side.

Never mentor online...too much crap is hidden that way by the student and by the mentor. Simply, student does not know if the mentor is qualified to be mentoring nor does the mentor know if the student is qualified to be mentored.

In contrast, if you're just sharing your trade strategies without mentoring/coaching...you can do that online.

    Many threads
here at ET involving someone sharing their trade strategies of how they trade but they are not mentoring/coaching. Most strategy sharing occupy the trade journal section and they typically last a few months along with the OP willing to answer questions.

    As I said up thread;
You shouldn’t expect a mentor to show you a method. You should expect a mentor to guide you through the process of finding and developing a system that suites you. Too many people are looking to copy a method that may not be appropriate for them.

you see i am mentoring about the market structure which need not be done head to head.

call it whatever you want the student has to make money immediately within a lesson.

i can post that lesson here in 3-4 lines but i do not want to do it for a few reasons: mainly because i want to teach only those who trust me and i do not want to reply to the trolls

i am not mentoring for money.

any trader will make money after one lesson.

but he may not be able to trade in all the different conditions of the market. that will take time.

but if he is willing to wait for the set up, which may or may not come as often as he likes, then he will be profitable.

believe me or not,.... i am not bothered ; i have spent 13 years to become profitable but i have nothing to do on weekends which is when i will be helping out.

if he is not sure about me let him find someone else .

Congratulations your 13 years have been well spent.

I wouldn't dream of guaranteeing that a student will make money after one lesson.

In fact I wouldn't consider giving lessons. I'm more of a show me what you've done and where you are having trouble and I'll see if there is anything I could suggest that might help. Sometimes another set of eyes is all that is needed; sometimes it is something the trader is doing to sabotage himself. Sometimes all it takes if having to justify your actions to another person.

it took me that long to understand Brooks......he is the one to be congratulated: though he could have explained it better.

Thank God he wrote the book

someone else may take only 13 months after they read his stuff.

now i wonder why i did not understand it in 13 days........

but i am surprised that it is that difficult to follow someone's instructions in writing or in a video

He is the only trader in the world i would like to meet
