Thank you for exposing him. The funny think is I had registered as a member of the forum because I wanted to filter out his and another member posts. I had been reading ET silently for around 2 years before becoming a member.
Obviously doing nothing will save money if you are otherwise losing it. I never said a strategy with a low win rate should be the target, i just said a high win rate doesn't mean anything and that is a fact, you need other stats to analyse a strategy. You should never trust a strategy simply because it has a high win rate. There are plenty of strategies out there with 90%+ win rates that blow out. Those kind of traders just never close a losing trade, there also are plenty of examples of strategies with a win rate below 50% that make good money. Win rate on its own has 0 value in analyzing a strategy.
Very true for most of us newbies. Luck plays a more important role than we realized. Those of us lucky enough to start active trading back in 2009-10 rode this raging bull market up. All we had to do was bet that everything would eventually go up and just counted our money. Who needed a mentor? If we are delusional, we would even say we are expert traders, after all we have a full decade of profitable trading to show! Fast forward to 2020. A completely different story, now I need a mentor too.
thank you for going to that site..... I AM A HONEST MAN is anyone ANYONE totally transparent......with his trading..here on ET watch that site from tomorrow when i am going to trade gold. i have reached my destination. after 1-2 months go back to that site and you will beg me to mentor you........see you then and by the way i am not mentoring anyone from now on .......but my site will be there for anyone to see .i will be busy trading so i will not be here. the only reason that site is there is to encourage all traders and SHOW TO ALL that technical analysis and trading can make YOU FILTHY RICH. i am not wasting my time here. if any trader here wants to see my account by screen sharing please pm me. but RDK91 is not welcome
Unless it is a 100% win rate, right? Serious, though, in a scenario like the following, win rate is valid and accurate to determine profitability: say, you trade option, every single trade you put in a fixed amount of money, say $1000, you either let it double or go to zero; if you have a 60% win rate you are making money. Any disagreement?
You need risk:reward to do so, so that proves my point that win rate on its own is worthless. 100% win rate doesn't exist on the long run .
