This is a pretty dumb post on your part, we are on a trading site, and a 12 year old can push a couple buttons and place a trade..... do you think that takes anything away from the people on this site who successfully trade for a living? Would you honestly walk up to a trader at Goldman Sachs, and question him about his profession, because a 12 year old could push a couple buttons and place a trade?

Ill tell you what, you want to solve this debate why dont you tell us all what you do for a living and what your hours and salary are, and we can actually figure out who is better off, and who made a smarter decision with their life. Lucrum has always been very honest about everything so im pretty sure he would be more than willing to post his own stuff, if you and RCG do.

I have my college degree, and i may as well light it on fire, cause it is almost no use to me now as a trader, and i will tell you straight up any idiot can come in and push buttons to a limited degree of success, but with that said id be willing to bet that if this month holds up I will have made more money in January then either you or RCG trader will all year, and there is zero barrier to entry to become a day trader, so whose the real idiot? Is it me for working a job that anyone with a pulse could do?

Why do you keep pushing such a stupid argument?

RCG is a veteran, a professional (yes, nursing is a formal profession) and a trader.

-47 is either none of the above or is filled with fear about disclosing details of his life in even the most vague terms.

I cannot speculate as to why he would be so afraid but I suspect his mouth may have brought some misfortune to him in the past and so he is profoundly reticent.

But I reckon that he is a coward either way particularly when viewed in the light of a completely forthright and fearless man like Lucrum.

I tip my hat to you again Max. Great post. I hope you are not honestly expecting him to reply though. But kudos for your effort.

  6. A takes much more to trade then pushing a button and I'm sure you know this

A commercial pilots license is a commercial pilots license whether the person is 50 or 17 though

  8. To get a commercial pilots licenses you need to know more then just sitting in a seat and pushing buttons. All you need to know to be a pilot can be taught to a 17 year old though

You are having reading difficulties here. Let me help. Trading and flying a plane are both pretty easy most of the time. I use to sit on trading floor with 800 guys in which half of them couldn't tie their own shoes or order takeout properly. And yet in a good market they made money with their eyes closed.

Like everything in life though, including trading and flying, it's that small % of the time when things get tough that define what you do. Whether it's being able to pull money out of the market when the VIX is at 12 or land a plane with zero visibility in a strong storm with 40 mph cross winds in heavy traffic. Those are the times that define your profession. In both trading and flying, both appear easy to the outsider until one has to step up under pressure and perform flawlessly. The difference between trading and flying under pressure is a trader can only lose money, a pilot can lose his life and the lives of his passengers.

  10. According to Lucrum he is just a bed pan changer in a dress that gives blow jobs to doctors but his pals get all defensive when its pointed out that a 17 year old felon high school drop out can be a commercial pilot :)
